Started this one around '04 originally with stag scales. I misdrilled the socket head clearance hole and using a 1-72 screw to fix the boo-boo didn't set well. Read that I went through. That would mean having to do the other handle scale the same and the mix of 0-80 and 1-72 screw wasn't my idea of clean. Put it aside and pulled it out a few months back about a fix. Decided the mokume and carbon fiber may be a good combo to try. The knife has another issue where I was blending the blade to body and took a bit to much off above the thumb stud countersink.
One of those situations where life is humming along, next moment cursing from the lameness of a moment that ruins it.
Managed to fix the handle scale boo-boo but created another. LOL. Stuff happens so I have a few "learned experiences" over the years.
