I have a Sig P225 and a Springfield Loaded 1911 in 9mm. Obviously, no gun is worth a d@mn if you can't learn to shoot it for its intended purpose, and I really like shooting both of these a lot. Like all the Sigs I've owned or tried out, the P225 shoots every type of ammo you feed it really well. With the Springer, I don't use the Metalform mags that it came with, I sent the original pair back to Springfield, and I'm in no hurry to get back the replacements since I have three of the Wilson 9mm ETMs which IMHO are the best mags out there. I've stopped using the Winchester Value Pack rounds from wallys in the Springer, I've had a few minor feeding problems with that ammo in the gun, and the ammo is usually out of stock anyway. But I've had no such feeding problems with the 115gr. Remington UMC MC, and it prints groups nicely with that ammo, which is relatively cheap if you buy it by the case from Dick's
BTW, one single stack 9mm that is truly amazing is the S&W 952, not cheap at about $2,300.00 new, but it is one of their Performance Center guns, and you can justify the cost when you see the workmanship in that gun. Great SA trigger in that one
