M&P shield in 45acp or 9mm

I just jumped on the shield 9mm and 3 extra 8rd mags from brownells' due to their sale, their coupon codes and the big s&w rebate. Should have it tomorrow (I hope). The shipment failed today because the FFL handler isn't open on Mondays. The wife and kids all have problems handling my 10s and 40s and 9mm is pretty cheap to shoot. Right now her gun is a bersa 380, we'll see what happens.

My wife has a Shield 9mm and likes it, her other favorites are a Kahr P9 and Beretta PX4 compact (she carries the Beretta).
My 13 year old likes my Glock 19C the best, followed by the Shield 9mm, he does not like the DA/SA trigger on the Beretta.

I have a Shield in each 9mm, 40 and 45. The magazines for the 45 are a bear to load. I mean getting them to full capacity is nearly impossible without some sort of loading tool

I ended up leaving the magazines loaded for a couple of weeks and that seemed to help
