Mark Forino-Hero or Looser?

Mark Forino was legally, openly, carrying his Glock .40 in Philadelphia. As he was walking to an auto parts store when he was stopped by a LEO who had drawn his weapon before he had even addressed him to inquire about the fact that he was carrying a weapon openly. The LEO called for backup, but finally had to let Mark go because the other officers told the original LEO that he had done nothing Illegal. Because of past experiences Mark has chosen to carry a voice recorder with him when he carries. The story gets weirder when the DA filed charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct against Mark after they found out that Mark had posted the whole incident on Youtube. I don't know all the details, but it sounds from the recording like the police overstepped their authority.

This is just another case of an LEO not knowing details of the law. Beaucoup threads here about such events, and none of them ever accomplished much of anything beyond rants and bashes.
