Marlin 60 or Ruger 10 22

I want to be able to take my semi-auto apart...any semi-auto. Having done some research, the 10/22 seems to be easier to take apart and re-assemble than the model 60 by at least a significant margin. I am not saying the model 60 looks terrible but I have seen an awful lot of bent springs.

So I will probably be going with 10/22 this weekend just for ease of "field stripping"...if that is the proper term for something that needs tools to clean.

But one never knows, I may see a model 60 and it'll follow me home.

If I was smart, I'd skip the semis altogether and get a nice simple bolt action.

Anybody watch Swamp People? I don't know how many times I've heard them say "hold on Junior, the gun's jammed" and they're literally wrestling with an alligator.

HoosierQ,
I own the M60 and my brother has the 10/22. I like both for different reasons. It comes down the shooter more than anything.
I will be the first to say the M60 is a bit more complex to clean. That is 1 advantage not to be overlooked. The 10/22 mag shines in the field and in prone. The 60 feels a little more full sized though.
I hate when people say buy both, but I want a 10/22 now & then. Along with about 6 other .22lr rifles. (Mainly bolt guns)
Cant go wrong with either one and even a few others.
