Well, about a month and a half ago, I backordered some .22 LR ammo from Midway, which was purported to be ready to ship this month. Got an email today saying that now they anticipate it to be "in stock" (notably not "expected to ship") in June. Oh, well, can't say it wasn't expected. Probably will get another similar email in 5 months. Maybe next year.

I've quit shooting anything. It's too expensive, everything is too serious now, and I just have too much else that is pressing. My already meager hobbies have all suffered and been set aside the past few years.

My BO was pushed back TEN MONTHS. I'm considering cancelling my BO and this might help some folks a little bit. But that's not my "real" reason for cancellation. IMHO, the BOs will be honored at their original order price... and charged to our accounts... at the time when ammo becomes easily available and prices plummet.

Do I have "trust issues" with USA businesses? You bet I do!!

a couple of months ago here at gander they got their shipment of mini-mags. I was surprised at how much they got and what they did. a whole pallet of .22lr and they were going to put EVERYTHING on the shelf. (other stores would've put a limited quantity on the shelf) I grabbed my max which was 10 boxes.

It was so random too cause it was like tuesday and i just got out of class to go buy some primer. guess it's being at the right place at the right time. I was also surprised they were only $8 something as everything at gander is overpriced in my opinion.
