On Target has to be one of the worst gun shops I have ever been in!
First issue I had when I got here was I wanted to buy a year membership. However, they have no allowance if you get deployed (which I did). You're just out your membership fees. Even AT&T cellular was better!!!! I didn't expect them to bend over backwards but a gun shop usually is willing to work with the military.
Second issue:
I was in there the other day and wanted to buy 2 rifles that they had.
They were consignment pieces. I asked if the seller would cut me a deal on the pair. Was told that they won't "bother" their sellers.
Was told that since I'm military I also have to give them a copy of my lease. First time I have ever been told that, but OK, I wanted the guns.
So I got the lease.
Had my orders and my lease now. Went back to shop with paperwork in hand. Had a younger guy show me the guns again, he then proceeded to throw the accessories around a bit and tore the box up trying to wedge them back into the box. He did all this while acting like he was doing me a HUGE favor.
The kicker then was that I was told I had to do a seperate form for each gun and give 2 copies of the paperwork. The kind young man told me there was a copying machine down the street at the 7-11 that I could use.
That was it for me. You can't be bothered to make a copy to bring in several hundred $$$'s? My money and I walked out the door and I don't think I will ever return.
Their concept of "customer service" is mindnumbing
I have talked with many other people in the area and they have similar stories of stupid stuff going on there. I'm amazed they can stay in business at all.
