Might be moving to Massachussetts

I recently moved away from MA and have zero regrets. I can tell you that the closer you are to Boston the less gun friendly everyone is. I've known very successful businessmen who have great community ties get repeatedly denied for a Class A license.

Applications get submitted you your local PD but are issued from the state police. My town was pretty good about giving Class A's. The former chief wasn't the most gun friendly guy out there but I managed to get a Class A as soon as I turned 21. I don't know if things have changed.

You've probably already done your research but a low six figure salary probably won't go as far as you think. You won't be poor but I wouldn't expect to be living the high life. Those who mentioned 1000k/month rent aren't exaggerating. Average houses sell anywhere from 300k and up.

In the Boston area you will meet the most absolutely horrific traffic you've ever seen as the city vomits the rat race back into the suburbs, very impatient and unfriendly people and high crime. All the laws are oppressive and restrictive. Not just the gun laws. I took a 50% pay cut to leave and have no regrets. My quality of life is way better now.

On a positive note the area history is amazing and the food is spectacular.
