I have read many different opinions, so now it is time for a "scientific" poll. As much as I enjoy taking the bolt apart and giving everything a good scrubbing, it looks like only the bolt head and locking lugs show any dirt (or get contacted by corrosive salts) Unless a primer is blown (do people check every case?), do you need to take the bolt down completely? Anything to save cleaning time, especially if it isn't necessary.
So what do you do?
