Thanks for the info ,but do you or have you owned a Silver Reserve of your own ?I have only talked to one person that had any experience with his at the gun club here, and he loved it. He shot clays for years with NO Problems at all. I also saw where the newer made (higher ser.#'s) have had the problems fixed by Mossberg by more than one report.I really didn't buy this gun to shoot clays with as I have several other guns ,I have used for years, for that purpose.I have a problem with the weight of the firearms when hunting for a few hours because of bad shoulders,so I was looking for a gun to carry that was lighter, and the smaller 20 S.R. seems to fit the bill. I probably won't be shooting 1000's of rounds thru it and feel that for the hunting I do,it will be a good buy for the money and purpose. Still would like to hear any advise anybody can give with their experiences esp. with the 20ga Silver Resv. Thanks again !
