Colt 1903, 1908, Ortgies .32 auto. The Luger has graceful lines and beautiful workmanship but to me it is automatically associated with Nazism, which make it Fugly.
My bad; was thinking of both the Python and Diamondback, picturing them both. The Diamondback was available nickel-finished and blued, but never in stainless.
I also wanted to come back and add the SAA, but then the Winchester 94 came to mind, and then the M1 came to mind, and then....
For an autopistol, it has to be the Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless.
Revolverwise the Smith and Wesson M&P is very attractive with a 4 or preferably 5 inch barrel.
For rifles, take your pick of some of the pre-WWI Mausers. The M96 Swede, 1895 Chilean, 1909 Argentine or 1908 Brazilian. They are fine pieces of art with their long barrels, slender stocks (at least on the small rings), and excellent fit and finish.
there are a lot of beautiful revolvers so its hard to name just one. I hate pistols and think they are all butt ugly.
for rifles I really like blued steel, wood stock, bolt or lever action and tube fed. No plastic or detachable magazines
