Also a few months ago THR member Standing Wolf was selling a bead-blasted 4" Colt Python that was the coolest thing ever, I can't find a pic but trust me it was gorgeous.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has the colt 1903 at the top of their list. It's like sophies choice picking a number 1 though, there's so many and I love them all!

I have a problem, I haven't seen one of them that I wouldn't put in first place.

I have nothing that pretty, just a plain old Taurus, but I like it.

I need you to tell me more about those two long slides. 7" barrels aren't they? They made me feel all funny inside.
They are AMT Hardballer Longslides with a JP Enterprise compensator ... the bottom one is on the factory frame, top one is on a early Kimber wide body frame ... It handles and balances much better, besides holding 14 rounds (with one in the tube) they've I've never given me any ftf/fte problems!

Did you have any issues fitting the Hardballer slide to the widebody frame? I've got a Javelina, but I'm beginning to believe I need a Hardballer too. My biggest issue is capacity, as a gun that large really ought to hold more than 7 or 8 rounds.

No problems at all ... it slid right on; no fitting necessary and actually it fit the Kimber frame better than it did the factory frame (which they are kind of crappy anyway).

There was also a Colt large-caliber prototype percussion revolver (pre-Paterson) developed with Pearson, that is almost Art Deco in style. It is in the Colt Firearms Collection, and is pictured in "Samuel Colt: Arms, Art, and Invention". Unfortunately, the only related photos I can find are of a smaller round-butt version that is just not as pretty. I'll keep looking.

Autos: Colt 1903 pocket hammerless in nickel

Also youre going to laugh, but the Raven mp25

Revolvers: nothin touches a nickel SAA with pearl grips

Long guns: flintlock muskets

I am 67. When I turned 21 my dad gave me a Browning Sweet 16, in a blond shade of wood, ventilated rib. Simply gorgeous.
No he didn't. There's no such thing. You must be making it up...

Prove it.

OK, I really just wanna see it!!!
