Most Attractive Semi Auto

This made me throw up in my mouth a little. I know the guy was being sarcastic, but still, what a train wreck.

"Paid For"

:D

One of the kids of some folks I hang with, well, she says :

The Most Attractive Semi Auto is the one Paid For

She is nine years old, and has been "contributing" to the lay-a-way on a
Old Ruger Standard MKII.

She has shot quite a few guns, and this Standard fits her hands, and it not too heavy with its 4" + tapered barrel.

It has some "character" and some "soul". Still this is her first very own handgun, and it is the most attractive semi auto "she owns" and its Paid For!

She spied this one, and had adults check it out. This is what she wanted and has earned it , in being responsible and contributing to lay-a-way.

:)

That is precisely what I tried to get my daughter to buy when she was 9-years-old. She liked the Ruger Bearcat. All the same, you really have to take your hat off to Ruger for their diversity of handguns appropriate for "little ones' hands". Morgan bought her own Ruger too. :D Impressive!

Out of those I have...

I would vote for these, of the ones I own. I like the looks of 1911s and stainless steel:

First of all, which end are we looking at? The only gun I want to see the barrel end of is one that I've just personally verified is unloaded...

While I have seen some absolutely beautiful individual examples of custom guns, here are my top five production pistols rated purely for visual appeal (at least, of the ones I can think of off the top of my head):

1. any Glock - the Glock design has a simplicity of form that could only be improved by making it out of stainless steel rather than polymer, but even in plastic, it's still the best looker to me.

2. Walther PPK or PPK/S stainless - hands down the most beautiful all-metal autoloader ever made

3. Beretta 92 or 96 stainless - the best looking full-size service pistol, with a perfect balance of curves and straight lines without too many appendages to distrat from its form

4. Beretta 84 stainless - for similar reasons as the 92 and 96, a close runner-up to the PPK

5. SIG/Hammerli Trailside - the best looking .22 LR pistol, to me. I especially like the all-stainless versions with the colored grips.
