I was digging around in some of my earliest posts here on THR and found one from 2004...
Thought it deserved a part 2... with a twist...
So... what's the most "displeased with" gun you have owned...
And, now for the twist:
What's the most pleased with gun you still own, and why.
My most displeased with is still the Kel-tec sub-2000 1st gen
Neat concept, lot's of wow factor, used Baretta pistol magazines, but it had crappy sights, was 9mm, and to put it mildly, shot like
But it was just so darn TACTICOOL I had to have it!!!!
I traded it for my Kalashniclone and never looked back.
The most pleased I've been with a gun used to be my 4" Smith & Wesson .44
I got it for a super deal and being from the Green Mountain State, there's just a little extra attachment to a firearm that has "Mountain Gun" etched on the barrel...
But that has since been far eclipsed by the unassuming little .22 rifle I recently refurbished with my kids...
That rifle is definately the most pleased I've ever been with a gun.
.22 rifle- $75
Cleaning supplies- $10
Spending an afternoon teaching your kids how to care for a firearm- Priceless
