More of a fun thread, but looking back at different books, TV shows, and movies, I want to know what the most guns carried by any one character going into a battle scene (in other words, not including ones picked up along the way) is.

I haven't actually counted myself (although I probably should) but the two major contenders I can think of is John Matrix from Commando in the final battle scene, or Neo from the Matrix in the attack on the government building.

Please exclude the scene from The Mask. I don't think that counts.

Where's that picture of that rooskie goob that's got like forty rifles slung on his back.. its gotta weigh like 250 pounds.

Jack Slater when he went toe to toe with the clown villain who killed Slater's son, in Last Action Hero.

"Is that all, sport?"
"Yep, that about does it ...unless you consider this [hand grenade] a weapon."

How about the 2nd Pirates of the Carribean, Elisabeth had about 10 huge flintlocks, about 3 bombs and god knows what all else in her pants that she had to unload to get in to see the one of the other Pirate lords.

They were all antiques but they are much larger than modern day stuff.

I would have liked to help her pull all those out of there.

Once, just for fun, I "went around" carrying six pistols concealed.

1 Tokarev, 1 S&W 3913, 1 S&W 639 (I think), 1 S&W Sigma .380, 1 Berette 92, & 1 Bernadelli P-018 (IIRC) I'd have tried for more, but I couldn't lay my hands on any more autoloaders at the moment. No, I did not carry any spare mags.

With my leather jacket on, you really could not tell from 5 feet away.

An arthritic grandmother in a suit of armor would have been more flexible and moved faster!

Neither would win, but I like Josie Wales. 5 handguns and 2 rifles, I believe. And Clint Eastwood, and Renea Russo's characters in In the line of fire, when they are dropping pistols, cuffs, battons, lights, holsters, etc as they are heading to the bedroom.

James Garner in the latter Maverick series. I remember him being shaken down at the saloon door IAW their new "no guns" policy and producing a fairly impressive collection.
