Although firearms are often portrayed as the proverbial "Zeus's Thunderbolt" in movies, tv shows, etc., one can't deny that the weapons that the heroes (and villains) in these movies and tv shows use often exemplify their characters. Which character's signature weapon(s) from any movie and/or tv show is your favorite? I'm speaking in terms of firearms from movies and such that are based on REAL firearms, not ones from sci-fi films and stuff of that nature such as plasma rays, or the Proton Pack from Ghostbusters or anything like that.

For me, my all time favorite movie firearms would be Snake Plissken's Model 629s from Escape from L.A. (Gotta love that Bangkok rules scene too).

Favorite firearm from a tv show has to be Sonny Crockett's Bren Ten from Miami Vice. Pretty interesting history about the gun as well, for anyone who cares enough to read up on it.

Chuck Connor's 1892 Winchester in The Rifleman. It's the reason I have a Rossi '92 today, though it took me forty years to realize I was incomplete without it. Mine's a .357, not a 44-40 like his, but I'm not him anyway. Heck, I don't even play baseball.

Trivia tidbit: Mr. Connors was one of very few people who played for both the NBA (Celtics) and MLB (Cubs). Too bad neither let him use his rifle.

Marshal Dillon's SAA. With the jigged bone grips. I don't think he ever fired more than three shots from it, at one time, in the whole series.

Dolores' sniper rifle from the just-ended Westworld season 4. The sighting system included a small drone that could be released, fly to the target, and send back firing coordinates. The gun could then hit targets that were not directly visible.

"The Mummy " FINE bevy of rollout he drops on the table on the boat over [ yea, lots of junk too ].
Steve McQueens sawed off Mares leg from "Wanted Dead or Alive".[ THE reason I own one in .45 LC ].
Clint Eastwoods load out in "The Outlaw Josey Wales".
"The Lone Ranger" and his double rig [ yea we all know that was NEVER a real thing ].
"Wild Bill Hickok" and his rig [ guns carried cavalry style/backwards]
All the guns used in "The Wild Bunch".
Tony Beretta's 2 snubbly from the tv show "Beretta".[ copying Popeye Doyles 2 snubs ,I believe].
ANYONE that used a Lewis machine gun !!.
And I guess I could go on,but hope you see my drift

The M249 in Predator was pretty sweet. I love seeing a shoulder fired SAW in film haha.

Starwars blaster... I love that Mauser ripped off the design from George Lucas when they manufactured my 96 "Broom handle"!
