This could have been a cool thread if people had bothered to read the original premise-
...Which character's signature weapon(s) from any movie and/or tv show is your favorite? I'm speaking in terms of firearms from movies and such that are based on REAL firearms, not ones from sci-fi films and stuff of that nature such as plasma rays, or the Proton Pack from Ghostbusters or anything like that...
No Sci-Fi fantasy weapons and no long lists of "just about everything".

My favorite- Sgt. Stryker's M1 Garand

I liked all of the guns used in the movie "Legends of the Fall" Everything from the 1870's through WW-1 into the 1920's. Check out the ammo on Brad Pitt's shoulder while hunting Africa post WW-1. Guessing that is either 2 or 4 bore black powder rounds for the double rifle he is carrying.

OMG = totally forgot that movie and all the GREAT hardware used.
Including his blade !!,love a large Bowie style

Hutch's Python.....or Diamondback
Interesting fact. At the beginning of the pilot episode while going over their equipment checklist, Starsky says "My Berretta, your .38? check"
Lots of revolvers in that show and I noticed some M1 carbines being use by the bad guys too.

Darren McGavin as Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer character carried a Colt Gov't. .45.

In one episode he removes the magazine, pops a round out, and orders the bad guy to eat the .45acp cartridge. which he does.

Honorable mention to Hugh O'Brian as Wyatt Earp who carried a Colt Buntline Special.

Every gun used in The Ghost and the Darkness I like!
The Lee-Speed Sporter, likely in 303 Brit.
The Double Gun (Holland and Holland?)
The Farquharson rilfe.
The Snyder Enfield
That Howdah pistol

That's one of my favorite movies. Agree on all the guns, especially the Howda.

M41A pulse rifle: I wanna introduce you to a very personal friend of mine. This is an M41A pulse rifle. Ten millimeter with over-and-under thirty millimeter pump action grenade launcher. -Corporal Hicks

I thought we weren't doing fake/sci-fi guns in here. Oh well...…

Charlie Prince's 45 Schofields in 3:10 to Yuma

Opps I missed that caveat in OP's post or I would have not posted my above post. But in my defense the fictional M41A Pulse Rifle inspired a real gun.

Well at least it shoots bullets and not lasers. Ah whatever. It's just a fun thread anyway. All movies and tv are fantasy.

If I remember correctly, the M41A pulse rifles were Thompson's with a pump shotgun used for the grenade launcher
If that was an actual production gun, with a semiauto rifle up top chambered in 308, 300 BO, or my preference would be in 10mm auto, with a 12 gauge underneath, and they could keep it under 20 lbs, that would be one hell of a home defense/battle rifle.
