Mounting a MG on an airplane

I'm a little confused here. Are you saying that the FAA considers ammo hazmat materials? I have a CCW permit and I carry a loaded pistol on my person everywhrere my permit reciprocity allows me to do so. In that regard am I viloating FAA regs when I'm flying?
