Without a "fun" switch, it's just a rifle. None of those "qualifying" features makes that rifle any different than a Ruger Ranch Rifle.

Besides, "assault" is something you do, not something you have.

Funny he didnt even use an AR, wasnt it reported that the AR was found in the trunk?? My understanding is that he used 2 handguns but I guess that doesnt fit the agenda. And damn Adolf Hitler for coining the term Sturmgewer, or storm rifle translated to english as assault rifle. Funny thing is the left keeps comparing us to Nazi's but the GCA of 68 was a direct translation of a Nazi gun control law and they keep using Nazi propaganda styles like Obama surrounded by children an a very similar shot of Hitler. He used an AR, but it was Connecticut legal and by definition not an assault weapon. Nor were assault weapons illegal to sell before 2004. They were not allowed to be made after 1994. So the article is flat out lying on a number of points. They all do that.
