I recently bought a Mueller 8.5-25x44. Has anyone had any experience with them? It's going on an AR-15 bull barrel gun. Will it hold zero and are the adjustments accurate?

I have the 4.5x14 APV and am very happy with it.
It is mounted on a CZ452 American in 22lr.
The adjustments worked fine,at 50yds I can put 5 shots into a dime.

I've got a 3x9 Illuminated mounted up on my FAL.

It's been great so far. It's held it's zero, consistent adjustment, no problems so far.

I have one (2-7X multi shot illuminated) mounted on my turkey/deer gun and after 100+ slugs + mag shells it still holds perfectly.

Bought a Mueller 8.5-25x44 just before the price jump. Clearer and crispier than the Simmons AETEC it replaced. The only problem I've had with it was that the target turret knob comes loose after some rounds. Those microscrews really, really have to be tightened.

Here's my setup. Savage 10FP .223 with Duramaxx stock. Capable of 0.2 MOA as long as I don't screw up.

I have an APV mounted on my 17 HMR. Nice scope -- no complaints. Not something that I would mount on my rifle for a once in a lifetime hunt, but very good choice for a range plinker or a varmit gun.

Have a couple of them, got them at an outdoor show when they first came out. Liked the fact they were made in Michigan. The lenses don't have as
many layers of coating as say a Leuplod, but they are a fraction of the cost.

Have the 4.5 x 14 w/ illuminated dot on a .221 Fireball and a 2 x 7 w/ illuminated dot on a 11-87 slug gun. Both have been ran through their paces
and have been pleased with them. Lookin' to put another on a 7 Mag.

Well worth the price, and far better than some of the other mid-priced scopes.

Best ............ Mike

I may end up with one soon. I want to learn to use a mil-dot format and don't want to spend $800-$1000. If leupy would make VX-1 or II with mildot I'd get that but...

While we're on the subject- anyplace cheaper than the factory to purchase them?

Sometimes you'll find one cheaper on ebay. I'll let you decide whether you wanna shop there or not. :)
