Wow what a day!

There were four new deliveries to the Frady household today, all of them can be called "significant"

1) Sony Dual Ten inch 250Watt sub woofer.
2) Sony widescreen 57 Inch TV.
3) Kel-tech sub Gun in .40cal (glock version) with one factory 10 and one preban 15 rd magazine.
4) Last but certainly the most significant....a 7lb 2.4oz Baby Boy born at 11:42 PM on 4/28. It was precipitate labor and waay too fast. I am a Nurse and accustomed to such things but I was getting irritated when she wouldnt stop pushing and down right anxious when the baby had no spontaneous respirations and would only breath when stimulated for at least 2 minutes....

All is well that ends well though.

.....what a hectic crazy day!

Also, I put down a little cash for an SU-16 Rifle.

A couple important questions....does anyone on here have any experience with either of these? Im not looking for "reassurance" as I bought them both for novelty "fun guns" If they turn out to be accurate and or reliable it will be icing on the cake but I am not expecting "premium quality".

(Note: I had previously planned to keep the magazines in the fast access safe bolted to my bed and put the sub gun under the mattress but my wife is worried about a round left chambered in the gun by mistake...its a no go they have to be secured.)

I can say both are simply a blast to tinker with in the gun store and most reviews have been favorable as long as neither are compared to high end H&K/AR/FN-FAL type weapons.

Would it be worth while to invest in expensive high cap mags (Glock .40 for the sub) or am I safe in waiting for the AWB to sunset? (He sold me the 15rd for $50.00 and I snatched it up)

What is a cheap safe I can buy just to keep the long guns out of the reach of children? It doesnt have to be that large because the sub has a folding barrel and the SU-16 has a folding stock. It doesnt have to be "criminal proof" either. I have seen "stack on" for $99.00 at sports authority and that seems like a good deal...it will go in the corner of my bedroom....

shew....Im friggen exhausted.

Oh and lastly.....the guys running one of the local Gun shops just quit and started a new buisness. The owner is looking for help and offered me a job running the place part time to give him some time off. Since Im only working the weekends I am seriously thinking of taking him up on the offer.

Oh, and Im in the process of becoming a volunteer for the local sheriffs department and (there is some class work involved and a meeting once a month or so), and hell I dont even know what else right now.

Taking the a local instructors "advanced hand gun" courses and maybe getting certified as a CPR instructor were also on the agenda for this summer.

Opinions appreciated (on the guns not necessarily on my choice of jobs/hobbies and TVs :) )
