Bought the SS new in 1959. The Remington that belonged to the wife’s grandpa fits my hand the best. The New Vaquero is smooth & soft to shoot.
Me too, but I’ve worn off all the anodized finish from the grip frame after untold thousands of rounds over the past 62 years.
The bluing has held up well, though. Better than I have.
Nasty - I have one of those myself but in .32 ACP and with a worn barrel. It's one of the ones I inherited. According to the SN, it was made about 1911.
