It was bound to happen eventually. I ended up buying a guy that I've already got today. Never saw much purpose in that (other than your carry handgun) but it happened.

At this point I have to admit that it's not just a hobby anymore. I've got some sort of weird disease that makes me weak when around guns. I have to posess more of them! Three years and 3 days since my first handgun purchase and I'm a full on addict.

Hey, there's worse stuff to be hooked on!

I walked into the gun show today fully intending on purchasing: AK mags, a case of 7.62x39, more ammo cans, and maybe a tac vest. On the ride over I was thinking I should get a lever action carbine -- thinking .357. I don't own a lever action yet (or a revolver!)

Well, I got the ammo, ran that out to the car (heavy sucker) -- got the ammo cans and ran them out to the car. Came back in and bought my AK mags. Still hadn't found a lever action .357 though. I found a Winchester 94 in .44mag and thought about it. A few in 32 also. Found a slew in 30-30 but the ammo is too expensive for a plinker if you ask me.

Well.. ventured past a promising table run by a guy witih some pretty good prices. Hmm, a Norinco AK. How much I ask? $700. How about the Romanians over there? $300 and comes with a 30 round mag, sling, and cleaning kit.

Damned if I wasn't going for my wallet faster than Chuck Taylor can do a mag change!

Maybe I'll it like more than my Maadi?

I once had two "AK-47s" and three Russian SKS rifles. Now I only have one of each. Couldn't resist the Russian SKS rifles, because they were brand spanking new unissued and only $100 each. This was back in the early 1990s.
