ND at the Tanner Gun Show in Colorado

Yep, happened at the Tanner Show this last weekend. Super Bowl sunday and here I am with a table at a gun show, trying to thin out my herd. Talking to a friend of mine who shared the table with me when what do we hear? The unmistakeable sound of a round being fired.....

Now after the silence that followed and the look of horked off shock on everyone's faces, the facts came out. A complete !#$%@%!@#%!@#%$!@#$@!#$#$%!@# waste of humanity was loading rounds into a magazine and loaded that into the gun..... Guess what happened next? Yep, he racked the slide and then somehow <wink Wink Nudge Nudge> the gun went off.

Well, security immediatly responded and no one was hurt. THe round either went into the floor or into some of their stuff....

Now, here is the kicker. They were a security company. Yep, Barney Fife has started a company. They sold things like holsters and guns and misc bits of debris for the security conscious.

Of course, they were promptly asked to load up their toys and to never come back. When that was announced on the overhead, the crowd cheered.

I cannot believe how mad I was at these people. I did not know them from Adam but I think if we had had some rope, there coulda been a lynching.

The company /vendor in question is Gunner Security. I actually bought a flash light from them once.

Of course not. Its DENVER! A city absolutely mad about American Football, even if the Broncos ain't playing. A city that torn down TWO perfectly good sporting venues to put up ONE in its place, then sells the naming rights to a corporation after the tax payers footed the bill.

I missed that show since I had prior plans to deal with the family and their issues. :banghead:

Sigh.... The tanner show has gotten progressively smaller over the years, as has the Crossroads of the West show. This doesn't help, although I am fairly happy it didn't make the news.
