My "Melted" Wiley Clapp is back at Ruger for a problem with the cylinder that stops its rotation halfway through a slow, deliberate double action pull. Unfortunately I've found out that I'm at least the 3rd person to have this problem. For an investment cast *High End* Ruger that cost me $800 after shipping and an FFL transfer, I won't be so quick to plunk down the greenbacks for their upper echelon offerings. Heck, after being refused a shipping label in lieu of a "Residential UPS Pickup" during my working hours, I'm looking at $890! I hope the new one shoots like a Performance center gun!
A fixed sight "competition gun" with a huge fiber optic front post seems to be an odd choice, but the gun looks good.
