New Pistols (9mm+) Under $300 you would spend your money on. It's been asked with numerous conditions but this has to be a reoccurring theme.

Ruger

S&W
Shield M2.0 9mm
Shield M1.0 9mm
M&P M2.0 Compact .40 S&W

Hi-Point c9
EAA Witness P (might have to shop, but it’s doable)
Apparently a Bond Arms (might have to do that one)
FMK looks interesting. I would probably try them.

If someone can elaborate on full size 4 inch barrel or more under $300 , I see Taurus has one and a with exposed hammer SA/DA at that,

If you are talking about the PT92 it's a Beretta 92 Clone but I haven't seen one that cheap. Although with the Beretta 92FS as cheap as $429 I wouldn't be surprised.

Was just looking. I found it. No experience with it. I've had good luck with their newer striker pistols but can't say on the TH9.

It has caught my eye being a with hammer single action not a typical strike fire Glock style, single action makes for better target shooting. But if it will fail after 1000 rounds or so then the price tag of $239.00 becomes less appealing. Taurus has had mixed reviews of late here at the THR.

I have no experience with these but I believe they qualify

Remington R51
Diamondback DB9
Walther Creed

Either gun would make for a fine choice priced under $300. I have looked at the various Canik models and think they're an excellent value for the money. I like the SR9c because it has a nice trigger, great ergonomics, and easy to acquire sights. It's also versatile in that with it's spare 17 round magazine it would be well suited for home defense yet remains a more compact size for concealed carry. Can't speak to Canik's customer service or factory support but I know that Ruger does a decent job of standing by their products.

My Canik ONE was $303.09 out the door at Grab A Gun. Best $300 I've ever spent on a handgun.

I've shot one and they seem nice. I posted a topic the other day to get others opinion. I'm looking at $288.84 out the door. Thanks for the input.

I have a S&W sheild 1 & 2.0. both are fine pistols. If I could do it again I would not buy the 2.0 the laser is a pain to switch on. Both are accurate enough Totally and totally reliable.

I'm really impressed by the G2c and it was under $200.

Amazing

I bought a G2 for $170 when the G2C came out. It's been a reliable little pistol. The LGS had the G2S on sale for $159.99 last month and it was hard to resist (For $20 more than a Hi-Point C9 it wouldn't be a hard choice).
