Birdmang ~ I think we'll read about you in the paper if someone ever breaks into your house! :D

USAF_Vet ~ You have 2.5 bulldogs. :)

robMaine ~ Wow! We're pretty close on that one!

(Primary)Rem 870 tactical, (BUG)XD9 fullsize, and an (Early Warning)American Pitbull Terrier named Cain (actually a big scardy cat, but sounds intimidating)

(Above items shown in pic, LARGER FILE!)

Mother-in-laws are mean bitxxs...I know...I'am married to one.:what:

And a XD 45 for baclup.:)

What keeps us saf(er) at night? Collierville and Bartlett, TN. They are the 'bait'.

Those two huge suburbs are much closer to areas which have a large number of burglars, but with few exceptions, break-ins take place when people are at work or school: about 1000-1100.
Otherwise, they wait until people leave for a Christmas party in December, or are out of town with two newspapers in the driveway.

We would never move to an area which does not seem safe.

I have a tactical doberman and a tactical rottweiler. They are highly customized - they wear Class 3a body armor and can bench press 400lbs. They are fully dura-coated with a Digicam finish, and were recently fitted with head mounted lasers.

The last brother who tried to break in only managed to say '***?' before they ate him.

45acp x2, and a little pop gun 380 hidden, just in case of ninjas

Left side of bed is a remington 870 loaded with 7rds of Hornady critical Defense plus 5 extra rounds on the stock. On nightstand to the left Sp101 loaded with golden sabers and a speed loader beside it. Right side night stand 1911 loaded with gold dots and a extra mag.

What??

Whatever I carried that day usually ends up next to my bed that night, and I always have the gunlocker keyes so I can get to something a little bigger.

But if things really go south, I've been keeping Gecko45 in a shed out-back for years. I feed him a steady diet of beefjerky and red bull.

One Benelli M4 Autoloading Military 12 Gauge Shotgun with requisite collapsible stock and extended mag tube for extra portability, firepower and style.

A CZ 75 P-07 Duty with 17 rounds of Winchester Ranger Bonded. It also rides on my hip during the day. There is usually a second mag with 16 rounds of the same within grasping distance.

Guns dogs........BAH!!!! I've got my wife she will make any ordinary human run off!

A Colt Comander in 45acp and a Doberman that would eat my grandkids if I let him loose!

If you come in uninvited at night you'd better hope the Commander meets you at the door, the Doberman takes no prisioners!

I use a shotgun exclusivly for HD. I have no need for something concealable or anything capable of making a shot longer than 12 yards (the longest uninterupted space in my home) My plan is simple, take cover while the wife calls the police and let the bad guy come to me.

7 (yes, seven!) mini dachshunds and a Louisville Slugger. The bat is to put the BG out of his misery after the dogs are finished. His ears will be bleeding and his ankles will have been shredded.
