Night Stand Gun

What do you all recommend for a good night stand gun? Also, what is on your night stand?

XD40, dead reliable and allows for the attachment of a flashlight if that floats your boat.

CZ75B .40 S&W same weapon I use for carry the idea being that I have a gun I'm very familiar W/ should I need it out of a dead sleep in the dark

I have a S&W 25-5 in .45 colt, six 225 grain semi wadcutters should do the trick (in the event the trick ever needs doing)

I recommend whatever you shoot best, with night sights, and a flashlight.

As for me, I have a Sig P229R DAK in .357SIG loaded with Cor-Bon 125 JHP. My light is a SureFire 6P.

At the end of the day I take my Glock 23 out of its holster and put it into the top drawer of my night stand. The next morning it goes right back into its holster. If anything happens while I'm sleeping, the dog's barking will give me plenty of time to retrieve it and be ready.

Between my nightstand and my side of the bed, is a Mossberg 590 12ga with 00 buck, which is my primary HD gun.IN the nightstand, is my S&W 637 .38spl.

So if you get into a firefight with the BG you'll have to deal with the strobe light effect. Looks like you better do some range time shooting under a strobe light... LOL
