Nightstand gun: SIG P220R or SW/Para 1911?

Plus S&W has a pretty bad reputation with their autoloaders.

That is really not true. Their were some problems with the original Sigma's, but the newer ones work fine. Plus the 3rd Gen steel/ss framed guns are some of the best semi-auto's on the market.

I voted for the Sig P220R, but would take a good 1911 and would skip on any Para.
