Thought you might like some figures to show how fast this board is growing...
The High Road started operations "officially" at 12 noon, Central time, on Christmas Eve. At that time, there were 94 registered users (all of us in the setup team, plus forty or fifty others who'd crept in while we had the beta site up for testing - we let them stay! ).
As of 6 p.m. Central time today, we had 1,222 members. This means that a new user has registered, on average, every 2 minutes 52 seconds since we opened the doors.
I didn't log the thread and post numbers on opening, but as of 11 p.m. Central time on Christmas Eve we had 252 threads and 2,120 posts. As of 6 p.m. Central time today, we had 505 threads and 5,662 posts. This means that over the past 43 hours, you talkative lot have been averaging one new thread every 10 minutes and 12 seconds, and a new post every three-quarters of a second!
Well done, folks. I think we're off to a cracking good start on our journey down The High Road!
