I open my mail everyday with excited anticipation because I'm also still waiting.

I haven't had the patience to keep me from bragging about being a lifer.

My check was cashed on 3/18 and today I have received certificate that I have received Gift Membership.

Is that the way it is suppose to be? Gift Membership?

My check was cashed, and I checked my membership status online. It says "Life - Active" so I guess it's done. I don't really care if it says "gift" membership or not. Thanks tuckerdog!

Got a post card saying I received a gift membership. I also got an envelope with all of my goodies for my life membership so I guess everything went through fine.

Tuckerdog, I've just now come across this thread and I don't understand what's going on. You got some kind of ability to sign up new life members for $300. each? And this came to you how? In the mail?

I've been a life member for most of my life. I'm on a 'no call' list with them after getting fed up with their calls right as we would sit down to dinner, but still get mailings.

I don't remember seeing anything like what this looks to be and would be happy to help the program along if I had.

So did I miss it, or why you and not me and other life members?

I helped Tuckerdog1 get a few people signed up for life memberships. I have personally been a life member for about 3 years. This is about the 3rd or 4th time they have sent me a mailing authorizing me to sign up folks for life memberships for $300. Not for sure why you didn't get the opportunity, also.

P.S. To those guys who were getting their membership through me, my materials got sent in the day after Tuckerdog1's. I assume you all should be hearing from the NRA very soon. If not, let me know!!

Tuckerdog was nice enough to p-mail to me and fill me in on this. As I told him I might have missed one such plea for membership but I'm sure I wouldn't have missed more than one.

So I'll call next week and see if I can be included, or to be sure I AM included the next time they do this.
