I had a discussion today with a guy that posited an interesting theory.
What if all the big recruiting that the NRA does, is simply a way to compile a list of gun owners and educated constitutionalists that may oppose an eventual takeover.
An NRA membership roster would be the perfect tool to use for gun confiscation and elimination of armed political opponents.
Maybe it's best to stay off as many lists as possible.
    Just a thought.

You serious? Not a good first post. This is some serious trolling. Maybe I'll go over to the democratic underground and tell them the Brady Campaign is compiling a secret list they will use to force people to own guns.

Nobody does more for gun rights then the NRA. It's been around for almost 140 years. Get real. You have earned my sincere distrust.

Dude, interesting theory, but way, way, way too paranoid to be given serious consideration.

So, never bought a gun through a shop before?

Seriously, this is just way to much paranoia for me....and I'm somewhat paranoid at times myself...

Dude, worrying about all of the possible lists we're on is a great way to ruin a good day. Let them worry about the number of us on those lists instead.

Paranoia, anyone? That is just about the most ignorant theory I've ever read.

    Jeeze...
