Its all bs talk. someone says something then it goes hog wild. now everyone is saying it. All or may i say most gun calibers are very good. Its just some ammo needs to be tailored to the ammo. Factory loads may not be the answer. buy one gun. off the shelf there may be up to 50 brands n types of ammo. The cheap wallymart stuff may not be the answer. Then you start reloading that 50 different types of ammo changes from 50- 500 different types of ammo and choices. Some ammo just needs to be tailored to the gun. Once you find the right ammo the gun is fine.

Next you have size. How many times at the range have you seen some young skinny scrawny looking guy pulling out a 9 inch barrel .44 mag. or 500 s&w. I like it kinda brings amusement to shooting. Bottom line the gun doesnt match the person. Same time how many times have you seen big bubba 7'3" inches 380lbs walk up to the range and pull out a 40. Then complain on how the gun is a piece of crap. Sounds like bubba and the skinny kid need to go shooting together. kinda like that comedian (whats your sign). ta daaaaa. So take what you here with a grain of salt. match your size to the gun you want to shoot. get different types of ammo. record your results. Alway try indoor shooting ranges where you can rent a gun to find out if its for you or not.
