As I was scavenging brass from the range I shot at this morning, I snagged any 45ACP cases I could find for the young lady shooting IDPA in a thread about a block over.
While I did get a few, after tumbling everything, (and remembering why, afterwards, why you don't tumble 45 and 9mm together, :banghead, I discovered about 5 of them were something differant.
They are visually identical to 45 ACP, same apparent dimensions and nickled, but 4 of the 5 were bulged badly, as if fired from a REALLY unsupported chamber, one was good. Headstamp is "Triton" top, "450 SMG" bottom.
Neveh hoid of it.
