So here is the scenario. You are only allowed one of each and they are the only ones you will be able to have for the rest of your life. These firearms will have to serve every possible situation and chances are you will need them to (i.e. SD, Hunting, etc)

Rifle = Ruger mini 14. Reliable and accurate to 200 yards. Good for hunting small to medium game and good for SD.

Shotgun = Remington 870. Good reliable straight shooting shotgun. Good for hunting all sizes of game from small bird to Bear and great for SD.

Pistol = Ruger 22/45. Can be used to quietly take out the bad guys and great for hunting small game.

Shotgun: Rem 11-87 with shot and rifled slug barrel. SD/HD can hunt all kinds of game depending on load.

Rifle: AR-15 in 5.56. (will take deer if I need and that's the biggest game around here) good for HS/SD. plentiful ammo. Accurate.

Pistol: .357 magnum j-frame. concealable and packs a punch. Basically will not break.

Rifle: Remington Pump Action 30-06 (760 or 7600). Very repliable and accurate, versatile (10 rounds extended magazines available) fast repeating without being automatic which may create problems.
Very powerful versatile round, with he proper load you can take almost anything on the planet, and you have long range capability if you need it.

Shotgun: Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 (I prefer the Mossy because of its native 3" shells firing capability)

Pistol: Beretta, SIG or Bersa Thunder in .40 S&W

Ruger Mini 14
!!!!

Seriously!!!??? That would not make my top 50 rifles!

I'll play... You need reliability and durability.

Rifle - Saiga in .308. Reliable, durable, relatively accurate, and great caliber. Great for hunting and home defense.

Pistol - Glock anything. Probably 9mm, .40, or .45. Reliable, durable, and all good calibers with plentiful ammo.

Shotty - Duh - Remington 870 with long and short barrels. Hunting and home defense perfection.

Rem 870 Tactical (straight stock, ghost ring sights)

Arsenal SLR-106FR (Kalashnikov reliability, .223 compatability, accuracy compromise)

AOW Beretta 92FS modified into a 93R lookalike. (hey, if I had to own only one...)

Rifle - my SGL21
Shotgun - my S12
Pistol - my Glock17
and if I had to pick just one of the three it would be my S12!

Rifle: I actually really like the pump 30-06 idea. Mauser 98 action in .308.
Shotgun: 870 magnum in 12ga.
Pistol: Something concealable in ~9mm. Not picky. .38 would be fine. Basically, something under 32 ounces and can fit in my hand and is relaible. Today it's S&W 6906.

Rifle: Marlin 981T (.22 lr)
Shotgun: Remington 870 w/ 23" barrel (12 ga)
Handgun: Ruger Super Blackhawk 4 5/8" barrel (.44 mag)

Rifle: Colt AR15 in 5.56 with 14.5" barrel threaded for a suppressor, also a dedicated .22LR upper.
Shotgun: Mossberg 500 with a 14" SBS barrel, 20" OC barrel, 24" ribbed interchangeable choke smoothbore barrel, and 26" rifled barrel with 4x scope mounted.
Handgun: M&P 9 with threaded barrel and suppressor

Hopefully this will never happen because I would hate to go have to go without my .22LR weaponery.

Hmmm...well then,:scrutiny:...ok my current pack could be trimmed down to one of the following...or combinations there of.

RIFLE
Modified FN-FAL...With select modifications they are AK reliable and AR accurate and as adaptable as ANY other mosern battle weapon.I have uppers in .243Win.,.260Rem.,7mm-08,.308Win. and .358Win..Also a .22LR conversion.
FN-U.S.A. CRF Boltaction...box magazines(Mod for FAL for me,ha,ha.)Wish they came in ALL stainless tho'!!
Remington 7600s...common reliable. I have two I would feel ok with in this kind of thing. .308Win. heavily modified and uses FALmagazines and a .30-06 Carbine modified to use 20rnd BAR mags.
LMT AR w/ uppers.(more than likely just after my FALs).

SHOTGUN
Mossberg 590A1 20"...common as dirt.Mine is highly modified for adaptability and the controls feel MUCH more natural to me than the 870s.
Remington 870...common as dirt.
Browning SPS...parts are very common.I prefer the feel of these to Remmys.Bottom eject makes for easy casing retrieval.

PISTOL
FN-45 Military...15 rnds of .45 ACP+P.Threaded Barrel.Tritium night sights.(Fiberoptic would be nice)
SIG P226 sct tactical...common and very reliable.Threaded barrel,Fiberoptic/Tritium sights,Frame rail,20rnd mags+"old style"15rnders.,.22LR conversions thatcan use Masquito or 9mm supressors,easily converted to .357SIG and .40SW.(15rnd mags new type).
Glock M19...common and reliable, can use full size mags,.22LR conversions.Threaded barrels. Can use longer barrels of the full size version.
Glock M30...see M19.

I would also consider any of my "WESTERN GUNS"...common and reliable...Black powder if need be!!!

Marlin 1895 My custom 20" barrel "Tactical Cowboy".
Marlin 1895SBL
Puma M92lmt ss .454 Casull +Ruger Super Redhawk .454 Casull.
Marlin 1894lmt ss .44Mag + SW629 4"
Marlin 1894lmt ss .357 + Ruger GP-100 ss 5"

ALL of the above are listed in basic order of preference BUT I would feel OK with any of them...

I will edit to explain later ;):)

Handgun - S&W M66 2"
Shotgun - Browning Superposed
Rifle T/C Encore with the 209x50, .30-06 .223 .308 .45-70 .38-55 .303 .22lr and a few dozen other barrels just for good measure

Gee I already play this game -
Rifle - Mauser 93 in 7x57
Shotgun - Ithaca 37 in 12 ga.
Pistol - Taurus 650SS .357 Magum

If this were something I Had To Do, then I might have the Mauser be re-barreled for .308 and mount a scout scope on it, but otherwise, meh. These do everything I need a firearm to do.

Pistol: Model 25-2 S&W, 45 ACP Revolver DA Revolver
Shotgun: Model 24 Winchester, SxS, IC/M, 12 ga
Rifle: M70 Winchester (FN) in 30-06

AR 5.56 with my 7.62x39 Upper (in case I run across some Russian ammo left by others.

My SW 3000 Police 12g Pump with rifle sights

My SW K17 6" 22LR revolver

Rifle= I'm torn between a Marlin 336 or a Marlin 917. The 336 would be better for HD or a SHTF type situation, but the 917 is more practical for most of my needs and would be more useful for small game hunting and the such

Shotgun= Mossberg 500 in 20 gauge with a smooth barrel and a slug barrel. Useful for HD, SHTF, deer hunting, and general blowing of stuff up

Pistol= 1911 in .45 acp. If apple pie was a handgun....

I apologize in advance for only reading the title and responding on a gut visceral reaction. EASY!
870 12 Guage
30-06 Bolt
Colt 45.

Cmon, You knew that didn't you?;)

Shotgun: Remington 870

Rifle: Marlin 336

Pistol: Ruger SP-101 22 lr.

All are robust, simple and easy to feed.

The first two are readily available and the Ruger revolver will probably never fail anyway, but if it did I believe other parts could be scavenged from others in the SP series.
