WHAT!? Why are you carrying a gun? At Thanksgiving? In the house? Is it loaded?
Of Course
Should have said it was just in case Uncle Bob tries to grab all the leftovers again.

DagoRed, so you know the exact moment you might need a pistol?
How do you accomplish this? Is it 100% reliable?

Neither did those six women in that Lane Bryant clothing store in Tinley Park, Illinois. Maybe you can get together with the lone survivor and hold a seance to discuss it with the other five.I choose not to live my life in fear that at any moment I will need a gun.
I grew up in Chicago. If I EVER believed that, it was before I started kindergarten. There are times, now, when I just WANT to feel like we have a civil and peaceful society

Not to be a jerk but, for my Mom (and only for her, if she was still alive) I would have left it in the truck.
I went back and reread the original post. I must have been retarded that night or something....I thought the OP was at HER house.Well for my mom, I would carry.
That I recall, about 2002 or so. A guy robbed a sports card shop, then tried to shoot it out with the police. He lost. Of course there's no force field between Rocky River, Lakewood and especially Cleveland. Lots of crime on the east end of Lakewood, and a whole lot of crime in Cleveland. I can walk out my front door, turn right, walk a few miles and find all the crime you could want.Deanimator, when's the last time anyone was shot on the street in Rocky River?
