P320 Xcarry Legion - What do you think?

My LGS has a P320 Xcarry Legion that is really sweet. I saw it the other day and have been lusting after it since. I had not been looking for anything like that, but here I am seriously considering it. Sometimes you need something you didn't know that you needed. The problem is that I don't know much about them other than what I see - really nice sights and a phenomenal trigger with a mag well that looks terrific.

Is there a track record with them? Any of you folks have any experience with them? Haven't seen much in the way of video reviews.

My intended usage would be fun at the range. Not home defense, edc or competition, at least not yet.

Another variation on the P320 platform.

Once you've got the FCU you can mix and match barrels/slides/grips to your hearts content.

So you've got the basis for any number of guns as you get more familiar with the platform.

I see your post. You might want to repost that in the forum: P250, P320, & P320 X-5, M17, M18 Pistols

I think you'll get more exposure as it is basically a P320.
Either way will probably work.

If you’re looking at your first Legion I would go with the P226 first. The X-Carry will be like a gateway drug, you’ll end up with a 226 Legion one way or another!

The Legion is the high end of each Sig platform. They are extremely well made and have all the upgrades. The P320 is the new US military gun in the form of the M17. (of course not like the Legion)

I bought a standard P320 before they were the cool gun to buy and I really like that handgun. I'm mostly a revolver guy but that is one of the few semi-auto pistols I own and shoot.

Thanks for the input. I went back to the store yesterday morning to drool again and then left. I needed to go home and beat myself up some more about the price. Then I went back after lunch and did the deal. I'll start a new thread with pictures when I have a little more time.

I too have the original standard full sized P320. It's a very nice semi-auto. If I were thinking about a Legion, I'd end up putting myself in the hospital doing this before dropping all that cash:

I like the Legion Carry, I think it points better than my 5" Legion. I might buy the upper if they ever sell it separately, my only beef is that they're only cut for Romeo1 and Delta Point optics.
