p365 manual safety

i have got a question about the sig 365 with manual safety. if i choose to carry with safety off is it the same as having one without safety, does it have the same safety features as a non safety gun with the safety off

My girlfriend has one. You can convert them back and forth fairly easily if I understand correctly.

I've converted two..a P365XL and a P365. Takes about 15 minutes each and 3 parts.

Yes. All the thumb safety does is block trigger movement. The gun is drop safe with or without the manual thumb safety installed.
