Good point, just because they were stopped once does not mean they won't try again.Tennessee passed legislation against it as well. Several states have. But we dont need to be content with MAYBE stopping this particular legislation. We need to focus on educating people to how dangerous it is and get legislation passed than bans such acts in the future.
An example is the legislation that was passed in several states (including Tennessee) that prohibits the government from taking firearms during "times of emergency". Pass legislation in advance that makes it even harder for acts like this to come into existence.
I don't think the National ID movement is going anywhere, if one state jumps off the bandwagon, the whole thing falls apart.
National ID alive and well in Indiana.
Lots of states (including mine) require anyone over 18 to have either a driver's license or state ID card in their posession.
Only in fascist states. I've twice been briefly detained and then let go (in TX) after repeatedly refusing to disclose my identity to a LEO. (Obviously I only do that when not carrying or driving.)As others have already pointed out, you DO have to give your name...
So how many fascist states do require you to give your name to an LEO when stopped and questioned for no valid reason?
