Dear THR:
Which one on the list would you not sell?

Please give reasons, especially for selling the ones you did not choose.

Thank you

I guess that I wouldn't sell any of the three, because I would never have bought any of them in the first place. :D

I picked the 5.7 because I would never buy the other two in the first place and I actually own one to begin with. The Sig X5 would be a hard one to come across though so if I was into that kind of thing I would probably hang on to it. The USPs are a dime a dozen so I would have no trouble parting with one.

I chose the X5. Only reason I picked it over the others was because I'm not interested in the Five-seveN, and as Havok said, the USP is a dime a dozen. Truth is I have no real interest in any of them, so while they're all quality firearms, I wouldn't be particularly interested in keeping any of the three.

I'd sell the Five-seveN first.

None of those are guns I wouldn't sell - or all of them are. All are quality firearms, so it would depend on what I could sell them for. If someone offered you $20k for thr lot, wouldn't you sell them all?

I would have no trouble selling them all, but the 5,7 and .45 would be the first to go. Not really being fond of guns the 'All-round' sounds like a good concept.

The 5.7 is hard to come by, the others I would sell in a heart beat.

This is the el Godfather I'm used to! USP vs. 226 vs. 5.7.... I would sell the 5.7, because it probably wouldn't sound good with a suppressor and doesn't look cool.

To decide X5 vs USP, we need a new poll.

King of polls sounds more like a compliment.

The only down side i see with 5.7 is that it is a week caliber fired out of a pistol. The hype is just well a hype. I understand the AP option out of p90, but then we are talking about different platform. Grip on this gun is wide. Its round is longer than ole 7.62x25, and I much rather have a double stack polymer in that.

H&K usp are dime a dozen, but they are good solid pistol. Bulky but quite utilitarian in use.

Whereas, i think, x5 is slightly a better quality pistol. Good for competition and good defense- lack CCW aspect and its heavy.

Nevertheless, i agree with the majority so far on keeping X5 unless someone gives me a very strong reason not to.

Sell all 3 now at auction for big cash. Wait a few months and buy a gun (or 3) you really want.

I don't sell my guns; I pass them to my adult children. They know to give me first right of refusal with regards to their selling them but that's not a real concern.

I'd keep the Five-Seven if you don't need any of them for a specific purpose (ie, home defense). Its a bit of a novelty item that a lot of people want as a "fun" gun. Not sure if they'll be around forever so I'd keep it.

If you need one for actual working purposes, I'd keep the SIG. Its probably the most practical and useful of the three from a day to day perspective.

Picked the 5.7 as the one I would sell. Nothing against it, just don't need another caliber.

The USP has more ammunition availability. 45 acp is a nice round.

As for the one I would sell - the 5.7. I'd be worried about a Jury seeing a 5.7 in an evidence bag. Something about a DA calling it a "Cop Killer Gun" worries me.

You might want to add a fourth option - "Don't sell ANY of them".

I would keep the SIG X5 and let the other two go. Not crazy about the FN design or the 5.7 round and the USP (which I owned once in .40), is just too big and bulky for me.

I've no interest in the 5.7, either the round or the gun.
I've used quite a few USPs, in 9, 40 & .45, full size, Expert & Elite. They have never grown on me and I find the triggers mediocre. My default position for polymer guns is the Glock.

That leaves the X5, which is an all metal gun and designed for games such as IPSC, which I enjoy. So X5 it would be.

I voted for the Sig only because I slightly like Sig more than HK. Sell the 5.7 for sure! It's largely novelty at this point. You'd get the most for it (most likely), and the ammo is absurdly expensive and not what I'd want in a pistol for utility purposes.

The five seven would go, as much as I like them its an odd ball round with costly ammo thats hard to reload.
The HK would go as well because the X5 is soo much better :)
