Got it from a longtime buddy that was in need of cash. He did his own bobtail, which I like, and it is super smooth when racking. The slide to frame fit is nice and the trigger feels really good, about 5 pound pull I would estimate.

This is my third Armscor made 1911. I owned a full size CD 1911, an High Standard officers model, and now this CD 4" or Commander model. I don't have the others any more but they all have been reliable, accurate, and have unexpected nice triggers.

I have only ran one mag of hollow points so far, but it ran and felt great.

I've got the Daly EMS, it was my first Armscor gun. Very happy with its performance, well over 10000 rounds through it, extractor broke about 8000 rounds , roughly the same round count where my Colt extractor broke. Both were easy fixes.

I don't shoot either much any more, the EMS is stainless and the Colt electroless nickel, and these days my eyes have trouble with the glare off "shiny" pistols.

My RIA Tactical and RIA Match Longslide get most of my .45ACP ammo now.

I want to do a couple mods to it, ditch the ambi safety for a standard one, and add a front night sight to the black rears. I got it for carry, and it already has some carry wear from him but it seems to be the exterior finish mostly. I painted the front blade red for now with the old fingernail polish trick, it will do for a while til the Trijicon comes in.
Even though the "bob" is kinda hoakey I like the way this pistol feels and think it will be a nice addition for the carry line up.
So far in my experience Armscor 1911's are reliable and a great value.
