Nothing special, unless you consider 16 rds of .45ACP special
I will give a range report before the weekend is over, but here are my initial thoughts.
The gun seems to be a quality piece, but the polymer they use reminds me of Kel-Tec, and that I don't like. The DA trigger is as long and heavy as I have ever seen.......I'm going to guess somewhere in the 12lb range. The trigger in SA is petty good, but has some creep to it - light though.
I really bought the gun because over the past year I have gotten rid of all my "plastic" guns in favor of SA only semi's - like 1911s and a BHP.
It hit me last week that I had sold the 2 guns I used most for night stand pieces - G20 and M&P9, so I decided that the FNP would be ideal for that.
I need a hammer and a manual safety, except for some pocket guns I have held on to.
My revolvers do not apply to this thread........they all have a special place in my heart and aren't going anywhere.
I like the fact of the capacity, the ability to be carried in condition 1 and I got a hell of a deal on it. Also, it fits my hands much better than a G20/21 SF, which surprised me a little.
My range report will tell if I made the correct decision............
