Picture thread for non AR or AK "tactical" rifles

To the OP, what a stunningly beautiful M1. You, sir, are a lucky guy.
Guess I should have said something like "post your non AR or AK rifles that are called "assault weapons" by the VPC". Course then I would have had to copy and paste what the VPC said: "assault weapons are semi-auto rifles, pistols, and shotguns designed for military or LE use". Since that definition clearly includes the M1 Garand, I was happy to post the pic of mine.
Course the VPC also hates on accurate bolt action rifles such as the Remington 700, calls them "sniper rifles", and says they should be banned. So I didn't feel right limiting it to semi-autos and went with the hard to define term "tactical".
The wife was nice enough to get that M1 Garand for me, by the way. I'm very close currently to talking her into getting me an AK74 with part of our tax refund check so that it'll be waiting on me when I get back stateside.
