pistol permit

Last Monday I went to my local PD to get the application to renew my pistol permit. The Chief called on Friday to tell me I was all set to go. Picked it up today. Now thats service.

The summer before last, I converted mine to "lifetime". We have that option in Indiana.

No more expiration dates, no more fingerprints and writing checks to the local PD and State Police.

I assume he is talking about the permit that allows you to carry a concealed pistol. At least that's what it's for here. But wow..wish it worked like that here in GA...i waited forever mine!

Gotta love NH

I am a Georgia native who has lived in NH for 7 years.

In GA, it took me 4 weeks to get my permit to carry, and the probate judge knew me from birth.

In NH, I walked into the police department, the chief said hello, come back tomorrow, and the next day I was legal.

NH is a Southern state on the wrong side of the Mason Dixon line.

In MN, you have to have a permit to purchase pistols and scary black rifles. There is also a permit to carry that is substantially harder to get. With the carry permit you don't need the purchase permit.

The only thing, in Vermont, you don't need permits for, are guns.

Sorry, We call em pistol permits. Its actually a concealed carry permit. Don't need a permit to buy a gun.
