I only pocket carry at work. My nickel-plated old S&W Model 37 snub rides in my left front pocket as backup to my duty revolver, a 4 inch S&W Model 686-6. The rest of the time, my revolvers ride on my belt or, occasionally, in a shoulder holster.
Depending on the time of year, I alternate betwen a S&W Model 638 when it's colder out, and a KelTec P3AT in the warmer months. Not exactly 50/50 split time; more like what the temperature is outside and what I'm wearing that day.
I just slipped a 340pd in a horsehide pocket holster into the front pocket of a pair of lightweight wool dress pants. I also tried my Kahr PM9 and the revolver won for weight, concealment, and ease of draw hands down. Off to a business meeting.
Revolver (S&W 49) every day. I used to carry a Kel-Tec 9mm (the .380s & .32s) are just too small in my hand to feel confident with them), but had to curtail the extensive practice I needed to be confident with them.
I have a Taurus 445, but for me, that's just too much gun to stuff in a pocket!!
