POF 416 with Eotech and 2.5x magnifier:)

Well here is my POF 416 rifle with an Eotech and Hendsoldt 2.5x magnifier with a LaRue Tactical flip to side mount. I have had the rifle over a year and it has been flawless but i have been adding things recently. I am very pleased with the combo of the Eotech and the flip to side magnifier. It allows me to have the flexibility of a red dot for CQB and magnification when needed.

With the Eotech by itself, my groupings at 100yards with the 14.5" barrel and non-match ammo is 3-4", but with the magnification they are 1-2". They can be even improved with better ammo.

Nice set up! How does that Eotech / magnifier set up compare price wise w/ an ACOG?

10-ring, the problem with the ACOG is that its not so great for CQB. I have tried it and with a 4x magnified image its hard to figure out where things are if you know what i mean. Even with my current setup, if i have the 2.5x up it makes it more difficult to orient myself for CQB applications. The beauty of this setup is you can have a true 1x for CQB and magnification for longer range stuff when needed.

I think the only setup better is an Elcon Dr for $1800 which switches from true 1x to 4x with a switch in a single unit and the quality of the glass is just unbelievable.
