skidder, what's that Ruger on the bottom? She's a real beauty. No other revolver has ever caught my eye like that one. Is it uncomfortable to shoot with that grip?

That is a 1987 Police Service Six. The grips are factory Ruger wood grips and they are not too bad with full power loads. Though the grips are small they provide room for all your fingers.

I actually swapped grips with the Security Six on top. The black rubber grips originally came on the newer Police Service Six at the bottom.

I own two Colts:

A Mk III 6" Blue Trooper (1975)
A 4" Blue Model 357 (1957)

The model 357 is often referred to by many as a "pre-Python." I actually prefer it over the snake guns. It's action is all hand-fitted and finish is beautiful.

I have a mix of Ruger, S&W, and Colt 357's. Poll only allows one choice, so I made none. I will say that I don't shoot 357 much anymore and prefer the 38spl or something more powerful depending on my mood.

Same here. I shoot a lot of .38 Special for plinking and target work, but for serious matters I got to either the .45 ACP for defense or the .45 Colt for woods walking and riding.

My .357s
Ruger 4 5/8 Blackhawk. my first centerfire. took a couple deer with it.
Taurus 669 6" took many deer with this. designated truck gun.
Taurus 627 4" 7 shot. One deer with this one. pretty darn accurate. nightstand duty.
Ruger SP101 2.25". ccw. Mrs kb shoots this one well. It goes in the car sometimes.
Colt Python 4". rediculously accurate. This should be my ccw.

I own a smith&wesson 586-1, model 629 and a ruger GP-100. I'm a S&W fan but if I could only have one it would be my GP100. It's the most durable and reliable handgun I've ever fired. I've owned and fired alot of revolvers in my life while I was in the army and out. I've fired roughly 10000 rounds through my GP100 and never had even a slight problem with it. All my other revolvers had to be repaired atleast once.

I posted my first-acquired revolver in the caliber. It's one of two I own. I bought it the day I turned 21, in 1987, and still own it. It's a Taurus M66.

The second one I own was my dad's, carried by him during a stint as a deputy in Colorado during a time in which we did not know each other. Ten years before he died, we re-established contact. The gun, a Ruger Police Service Six, became mine upon his death, in 2010.

I own three 357 magnums.
1. Ruger Police Service Six 4 inch.
2 Ruger SP101 4 inch.
3 Ruger New Model Blackhawk 4 5/8 inch.

In S&W I have:
4 19's
5 66's
5 27's
2 65's
1 28
6 686's
3 586's
2 60's
1 640
1 581
1 13
Colt
2 Pythons
Ruger
1 Security Six
1 Speed Six

I like .357's.

I fall into the "Other : (specify)" category with another vote for the popular Dan Wesson. Make mine a VH-15 Monson.

I'd rather not list them for BATFE :uhoh:, except to say that I have enough variety to make a judgment. I would say my favorite is my S&W 686-6, which is big enough to seriously handle the caliber and never sees any 38 Special.

Seems to me, most folks own more'n one, some own WAY more'n one, and a variety. And, there's a lot more models of revolvers in .357 magnum than can be listed in a poll here. Not too sure what this poll is supposed to prove.

Sure would be nice to have a multiple choice capability.
