why do people stick pens into the trigger guard??

They do it to prop the gun up from a flat surface during photographs. It gives the firearm better depth.

Oh my dog has, we took her to a friends shooting property and she hid under the truck all day. It may be because of that.

Nickle plated Colt Trooper MKIII .357 mag my dad bought in '74 a couple months after I was born.


Restored 1884 Prussiamn Mauser 71/84 in original 11.15x60r.Lots of fun to shoot with blackpowder cartidges duplicating the original military loading (really low, deep BOOM and TONS of great smelling white smoke ).Also really enjoyed the 6 months spent rebuilding/restoring it from a $20 rusted out barreled receiver.


Ruger Red Label O/U 12ga with screw in chokes.Really nice looking, great balance, points great, just a really good gun for hunting, trap, or especially skeet.
