Howdy, I was at my local wally world today and felt I needed to buy some .22 LR ammo, as I was getting a bit low from all the indoor shooting I did over the long winter. Anyway I noticed the prices had gone up on the Federal 550 rd. boxes, as they used to be $15.97 and now they are $18.97 I also noticed a bit smaller sized version of a Federal bulk box of 375 rds for $11.47, this got me thinking to which was a better value. I did a little thinking and figured the 375 rd box gave more bang for the buck, if I did my math right. I figure you pay $3.45 per 100 ct for the 550 rd box and $3.06 per 100 ct for the 375 rd box. I always thought buying in larger quanities of the same product would mean lower cost, but this is not the case. LM
