I'm on the road this week and have been looking for pistol primers.
First stop - Sunday: Jay's Sporting Goods in Clare, MI. The lower shelves were pretty much empty. Got the last 500 Winchester Large Pistol Primers. There were over 150,000 Magnum Federal Match Large and Small Pistol Primers in boxes of 5,000 piled on the top shelves.
Second stop - Monday: Bass Pro north of Detroit, MI on I-75. Was told they had "one sleeve of small rifle primers and one sleeve of 209's."
Third stop - Tuesday: Cabela's in Dundee, MI. They had Approximately 60,000 Remington Large Pistol Primers and 1000 CCI 50cal. BMG Primers. I bought 3,000 of the LPP's. Went back today - about 35,000 left - bought another 1,000.
If you're close to Jay's or Cabela's you might be able to get some if you're quick.
Update: Thursday - Grand Rapids, MI: Gander Mountain off 28th Street - About 60,000 Federal Magnum Match Large Pistol Primers and 1,000's of assorted 209's.
